
Wine Guy Bob is a superb public speaker and teacher. Unlike wine distributors and representatives who promote and push their brands, his goal is to introduce you to the whole world of wine, showing you a good time and leaving you with some easily acquired knowledge. Bob will NEVER try to sell you a bottle of wine.
Entertaining, enlightening and inspiring Wine Guy Bob adds fun and laughter to every party, focusing exclusively on hospitality and enjoyment.
- Wine Guy Bob is not a caterer providing catering services or supplies (glassware, utensils, ice, serving equipment). He will, of course, be happy to help you plan your event and work with your catering firm.
- Wine Guy Bob will specify a wine list for purchase at a local retail store. His purchasing power saves you money. He will deliver your samples to the event with a receipt for reimbursement.
- Tastings feature five or six samplings based on your requirements. Bob will create a theme and work within you budget.
- Wine Guy Bob events are never stuffy or pretentious. Wine should be fun, and he keeps things light and entertaining. There will be lots of smiles and laughter!
PRICING AS FOLLOWS:
- The cost of the wine (minimum average per bottle retail price $25 plus tax) not included in Bob’s fee.
- Bob’s fee. The average event requires 3 hours at location and 5 hours of preparation
- 10 – 25 guests: $1000, plus travel at $100 per hour round trip
- 26 – 100 guests $1500, plus travel at $100 per hour round trip
- 101 – 200 guests: $2000, plus travel at $100 per hour round trip
- 201 + guests – subject to negotiation
- Travel in excess of 2 hours requires local hotel overnight at $250.
