About Bob

Bob combines senior hotel/restaurant experience with superb wine knowledge, and an engaging personality, becoming the perfect wine tasting host.

His career includes roles as VP/General Manager at Sheraton City Centre, Washington, DC, DoubleTree Hotel at the Pentagon, Radisson Resort Scottsdale, AZ, DoubleTree Hotel & Executive Center, NJ, Snowbowl Ski Resort, Flagstaff, AZ, and the renowned Molly Pitcher Inn, Red Bank, NJ.  He has welcomed Presidents Reagan and Clinton, VP’s Mondale, Bush and Gore, political leaders, movie stars, athletes, entertainers and corporate executives.  Later, as Founder/CEO of Monica Hospitality Solutions in the Columbus, OH area.  He was renowned as proprietor of a boutique wine store, a wine bar & bistro, and fine dining restaurant and catering facility. Then in 2013 he sold his business and moved to Florida.

Bob launched his latest venture in 2015, creating Wine Guy Bob, an alter ego speaker delivering wine education without the pretense and snobbery so often associated with wine events.  His relaxed, engaging approach, coupled with his clever wit, has made him one of Florida’s most popular featured speakers.

Today he hosts lively wine happenings around the state, including some of Florida’s largest and most prestigious communities (The Villages, On Top of the World and Solivita).   His unique talent for combining a lighthearted approach with innovative and insightful topics are his personal signature.
